Meet Dewi

Dewi Nainggolan is a dynamic individual whose journey has been shaped by her diverse background and multifaceted career path. Born in Indonesia, she moved to the United States at the age of nine, bringing with her a deep connection to her heritage and culture. Raised by native Indonesian parents with roots from two different islands, she embodies a unique blend of traditions and perspectives. Her parents met in Jakarta, the capital city of Indonesia, which played a pivotal role in shaping her cultural identity. Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and deeply knowledgeable about her cultural roots, Dewi takes pride in her heritage and ensures that it remains an integral part of her life. As a dedicated mother to one daughter, she prioritizes passing down her cultural traditions to the next generation.

Dewi's educational journey took her to Pacific Union College in Angwin, Napa, where she pursued a major in the medical field, influenced by her family's strong presence in healthcare. Prior to this, she completed prerequisite courses at Sacramento City College and Heald College, laying a solid foundation for her career. She earned certifications as a Medical Assistant, Dental Assistant, and Accountant (AA Degree), demonstrating her versatility and commitment to lifelong learning.

After spending nine years in the medical field, Dewi decided to pivot towards business, embracing new academic and professional opportunities. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, aiming to expand her expertise and make a meaningful impact in the business world. Beyond her academic and professional pursuits, Dewi is an avid traveler, having explored 15 states and four countries. She thrives on adventure, enjoying hiking, trying new experiences, and setting ambitious goals including skydiving.

Additionally, Dewi has passion for music, particularly playing the piano and singing with Indonesian Vocal Choir Group. She has shared her musical talents by teaching children at church, contributing to her community in a meaningful and fulfilling way. With her diverse background, strong work ethic, and adventurous outlook on life, Dewi Nainggolan continues to inspire those around her. Her commitment to personal growth, cultural appreciation, and lifelong learning underscores her dynamic and driven nature.
